The Community Services Clearinghouse Guild is hosting the Second Annual True Grit Ride 100, Saturday, June 22, 2013.

The ride offers a non-competitive cycling tour for individuals of all abilities, including a 10 mile family fun ride, and 35, 50, 75 and 100 mile routes. Chuck-Wagon aid stations are roughly 10 miles apart.

The True Grit Bike Ride is exciting because it is a large fundraiser to support the Community Services Clearinghouse.  The Clearinghouse is a well-established, non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance to families and children in need throughout seven counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma.  The most well-known program the Clearinghouse offers is the Meals for Kids backpack program, which distributes over 2,000 sacks of weekend food each Friday to children who otherwise would go hungry before returning to class on Monday.

 

The ride is open to local, state and national participants.  We hope support of the event will be large and we can unite in becoming
